Ritchie Swimwear was founded in 1979 and started out manufacturing fashion sportswear and bikinis.

Our first retail store opened in 1981, when we concluded that there was a void in the swimwear industry. The first swimwear collection was introduced in 1983 and Ritchie Swimwear quickly developed a reputation for fashion-forward styling, quality workmanship, innovative fabrics and detailing, and first class customer service.

Today there are four exclusive Ritchie Swimwear stores in South Florida: Coconut Grove and South Beach, in the Miami area, the Oasis in Sawgrass Mills in western Fort Lauderdale, and at Seminole Paradise, adjacent to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood. Our first international boutique (independently owned and operated) is now open in Zurich, Switzerland.

For the 2009 season, we have introduced our most exciting selection ever of textured and unusual swimwear fabrics from around the world. Crocheted, metallic, layered and embossed fabrics are glamorously accented with buckles, toggles, belts, rings, gold chains, and crystal brackets. The color palette is warm and rich, with an emphasis on earth tones and naturals

Our 2009 website features a new and refined look to enhance and simplify your shopping experience. We have also increased our sizing and feature tops that will fit women with a cup size from "A" to "E" and bottoms that range from size XS (0-2) to XL (14-16). No matter what size you are you will feel sexy in a Ritchie swimsuit.
